another look at the 80 meter filter

In the previous filter post I simply let ELSIE "build" the filter. This time I set the "L" value and then ran the calculator. This is the first response:

Notice the 1.76k Z. I went back a reset the input Z and get this.

So I can use larger coils in the filter and then Z match the input. Here again ELSIE gave 4 options on the matching. We could use capacitors instead of coils. Anyway, here is the response for what is shown.

3.5 to 4 Mhz band pass.
